A former professional footballer who started his career at Arsenal and had spells with Bristol City, Swindon Town and Scarborough, before ending career through injury. He has over 20 years of coaching experience and is at present completing the UEFA A license.
He is heavily involved in football and performs many roles including, being chairman, coach and welfare officer of Ilford Colts FC. He is also a qualified referee and works as a FA tutor delivering Level 1 courses.
For the last 16 years he has run Football For Fun, a coaching organisation for children, delivering after school and holiday coaching courses. The FFF motto is simply ‘Play to learn, Learn to play’.
Over the years he has organised and run many football projects involving children and young people including a very successful programme engaging with and training unemployed people into becoming football coaches.
At present he works as teacher working with year 11 pupils in alternative educational provision and also as a Games Teacher in an independent school.
