AIM

  • To get more boys and girls actively playing football.
  • To secure for them the most enjoyable, developmental and child-centred football experience when they do play.
  • To create playing environments and formats which allow children to reach their full potential in football.
  • To eliminate the factors which cause boys and girls to drop out of football.

OBJECTIVES

The CFA's extended children's focused organisations form a vital network of partnerships sharing best practice in all stages of childhood. The CFA will be accessible to all communities seeking advice on the children's game.

PRINCIPLES

The Children's Football Alliance is a coalition of agencies and organisations that safeguard and advance the rights of children in football.

Globally, children contribute immeasurably to the game of football…as players, as fans, as workers and in many other ways. Without doubt, the power of football to be an influential and dominant force for good in the daily lives of children worldwide is enormous.

As a humanistic voice and advocate for children, The CFA also acts as a focal point and network for those individuals and organisations seeking sustainable partnerships, information, education and/or training on child-centred approaches and children's rights in football.

The Children's Football Alliance works tirelessly to better children's lives.
