KIKINI Street Soccer (KSS) is a gift to the children of the modern game from the children that the game forgot. A practical resurrection of the most fundamental social skills required for a better society cultivated within the game that only the children themselves can truly own.
KIKINI Street Soccer has been developed by Skillrhythmics ltd who has taken the conflict resolution and game play of the street which is inherently natural in children who simply want to play and have encompassed these skills within a positive, safe learning environment.
From this platform, the Skillrhythmics philosophy is presented to the public to gain a broader understanding of how society’s current behaviour towards children’s social and sporting development can be revolutionised to produce a very different and positive outcome for our children.
Skillrhythmics strictly enforces a silent sidelines policy during their KIKINI Street Soccer programmes to allow the players to discover answers for themselves. No Street in the history of soccer has ever needed a parent to shout instructions on how to function. The KIKINI Street is no exception to that rule.
The KIKINI Street Master promotes unity, an understanding that the other players on the street are not rivals or threats but an extension of the team. The street team therefore works together towards a common goal, that is, to bring to life the success of playing a fair, competitive game.
