OAKGROVE INTEGRATED COLLEGE<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE FIRST COLLEGE IN DERRY-LONDONDERRY TO TWIN THEIR PEACE PITCH WITH FLANDERS PEACE FIELD.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

16 primary schools across County Londerry attended the Cross Country Peace Run to celebrate Oakgrove Integrated College’s Peace Pitch twinning with Flanders Peace Field, Mesen, Belgium, site of the First World War, 1914, Christmas truces. Oakgrove’s FMOSH students facilitated the event. Chris Porter, FMOSH Project Manager, said, ‘The event a great success. Our students did a grand job supporting hundreds of children keen to play on the Peace Pitch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
