The Global Peace Games (GPGs) continues to grow. The 2019 GPGs is part funded by Erasmus+ and UEFA Foundation for Children; inspired by The United Nations’ International Day of Peace and The First World War’s 1914 Christmas Truces. Directed and facilitated by The National Children’s Football Alliance (UK) and hosted by The Peace Village (Belgium) the GPGs is a week-long peace education event engaging young people from diverse backgrounds and different cultures, in football / sports games.
