Hollandia Soccer Club is the first Club in Saskatchewan, Canada to participate in the Peace Field initiative. The Peace Fields Project ceremony took place Sunday 26th September, 2021. Hollandia Soccer Club’s close relationship with the The Saskatoon Soccer Centre and Saskatoon Youth Soccer, recognises the important connection that twins their peace pitch with Flanders Peace Field, Mesen, Belgium; site of the 1914 First World War Christmas Truces.

A copy of the Declaration will be held by the Peace Village, Mesen, where a duplicate Hollandia Soccer Club Peace Plaque will be displayed, over-looking the Peace Pitch Flanders Peace Field.
