The This Country Sponsored Walk took place on Saturday 10th September 2022. It started at 11am. The 12.6km walk through the Cotswolds took place in many of the film locations that made the BBC’s This Country comedy series.
All monies raised went to the CFA’s GLOBAL PEACE GAMES. Held each year, the games see mixed gender and mixed ability children with different needs, coming from diverse communities and war-torn regions, including migrants and refugees, benefit from a week-long peace education programme taught through play and sport. Each young person achieved an Ambassador for Peace Certificate, with the Global Peace Games helping to create peacemakers for the future.
