World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD), 21 March, is a global awareness day which has been officially observed by the United Nations since 2012.
The First Ever Peace Pitch in Derry-Londonderry, Northern Ireland was twinned with Flanders Peace Field, site of the 1914 First World War, Christmas truces, Mesen, Belgium.
